A Taste of Triumph: Boyne Valley Flavours Producers Shine at the Great Taste 2024 Awards
We are delighted to share the news that producers in the Boyne Valley were awarded 20 Great Taste 2024 Awards including 3 products that were awarded the prestigious 3 stars.

The Great Taste Awards is a prestigious international food and drink awards program organized by the Guild of Fine Food, established in 1994. It recognizes exceptional products based on quality, taste, and authenticity.
Key Features of the awards include the Blind Tasting where products are evaluated without brand or packaging influence to ensure impartiality.
They judging process features a panel of over 500 experts, including chefs and food critics, assesses products on texture, aroma, and flavor.
Star Ratings:
- One Star: Excellent flavor (about 25% of entries).
- Two Stars: Outstanding taste (around 10%).
- Three Stars: Exceptional quality (less than 2%).
