Cooley Oysters

Cooley Oysters are a family business, located in the heart of the beautiful Cooley Peninsula. Established in 1984 by the Ferguson Family, Cooley Oysters has been proudly farming premium quality oysters from the crystal-clear Class A waters of Carlingford Lough for over 40 years.

The newly developed purification facilities and state-of-the art packing room are fitted with the latest innovations and modern technologies to ensure they provide a safe working environment and a high-quality product. Using a combination of seawater, UV light, optimum temperature, salinity and oxygen levels, their oysters are purified to the highest standards and exported worldwide.

Cooley Oysters were awarded with the prestigious Origin Green Gold Membership in 2020.

What gives their oysters their great taste is a combination of some of the cleanest sea waters in Europe, the extreme tidal ranges, and the passion of the Ferguson family for creating a beautiful oyster. With a perfect, juicy flesh and a rich and distinctive flavour, their oysters are low in calories, low in fat, and a great source of protein.
