Sheridan’s Cheesemongers Meath Shop just outside Kells is the perfect place to pick up some truly decadent picnic supplies. Of course, you will find lots of delicious cheese, but also charcuterie, wine & lots of artisan treats. All of which can also be ordered online if you cannot make it to the shop.

Scholars Townhouse Hotel in the heart of Drogheda has created a luxurious picnic including

If you are headed for a picnic by the sea, then MacNamee’s Tea Rooms in Dunleer County Louth is a great place to stock up on lots of yummy picnic foods. They specialise in gourmet sandwiches and have a great selection of freshly baked cakes & treats along with lots of locally produced charcuterie & lots more.

These along with their stunning range of cakes & treats make it a perfect place to grab some picnic supplies. They also stock a range of handmade baskets which can hold all your picnic goodies!

The Simply Honest Cafe in Navan offers a great selection of freshly made salads, sandwiched & lots more. They also stock a large range of products from local Artisan Food Producers perfect for picnics.

Harvest Home Bakery in Trim County Meath offers a great selection of freshly prepared sandwiches and delicious cakes & treats including a treat box which would be a welcome addition to any picnic basket!
Five Good Things Café
Five Good Things Cafe is in Drogheda County Louth and specialises in speciality coffee and delicious brunch and lunch options.
Cafe Tailtiu in the courtyard of Teltown House has recently opened and you can pick up some picnic supplies and enjoy a picnic in the stunning grounds of Teltown House.
This summer it is all happening at Slane Castle with an Airstream food truck on site which will provide a quick takeaway service of specialty coffee and home baked goods along with a picnic basket option.
Each Friday and Saturday the talented team at Merci Beaucoup Cakes Creations open their pop-up shop, which is full of freshly baked breads, pastries and beautiful French patisserie which would all make for a very luxurious picnic.

Stop by the Farmer’s Market that is on each Thursday at Rock Farm just outside Slane in County Meath and pick up lots of local food & drink from the producers themselves to enjoy on your picnic.
