Brabazon at Tankardstown House
Tankardstown House and Restaurant, is set amongst an 80 acre estate of woodland, parkland, courtyards and walled gardens, just 7kms from the village of Slane, in the Boyne Valley. The name of Tankardstown has become synonymous with good food, in both Brabazon Restaurant, which is open to residents and non-residents alike, and in the high end celebratory dining offered to Wedding Guests and Conference Groups.
Set in the 'Garden Village' at Tankardstown, Brabazon Restaurant has become a true destination for diners and lives long in the memory of all who visit. Head Chef Johnny Sarkozi and his team offer a culinary experience based on seasonality and local produce; some of which is derived from the estates own kitchen garden and polytunnels.
Casual lunch and classic evening dining can be enjoyed Thursday through Sunday, with Afternoon Tea served every Thursday and the first Saturday in each month. Guests can dine on the terrace in Summer, or in the intimate surrounds, beside the open fire during the winter months. With recent accolades including 2AA Rosettes and RAI’s Best Hotel Restaurant in Meath and Best Chef in Meath, Brabazon Restaurant offers diners a feast for the eyes and the palate.
Dishes are based on fresh seasonal produce, from the walled kitchen gardens and poly tunnels on the Tankardstown Estate where possible, and from local and regional producers. We look forward to wonderful new menus evolving over the coming seasons, and welcoming you to taste this talent…
Afternoon Tea
Enjoy this time-honoured tradition every Thursday and the first Saturday each month, served in the beautiful surrounds of the Morris Suite at Brabazon Restaurant, or alfresco on the picturesque terrace when the weather is clement.
