The Whole Hoggs

The Whole Hoggs keep rare breed free range pigs. They roam on 60 acres of native forestry and they use old traditional methods of curing, smoking using all of the pig in the Boyne Valley. They aim to produce a free range product for their loyal customer base.

The Whole Hoggs cater for people who care about the way animals are reared. Their pigs have a much longer and happier life than the commercially reared ones. They are reasonable in price but do not try to compete with the bottom end of the market, as they believe the pleasure in buying cheap meat is soon forgotten in the bitterness of poor taste. They attend the Honest 2 Goodness Farmer's Market in Glasnevin every Saturday, 9.30am till 4pm.
