Bakealicious was started by Eimear Reynolds in 2013, however her baking experience started long before that.
Making jam tarts out of scraps of left-over pastry when Eimear was a child was really when her baking career began. The recipes that we use today are tweaked versions of the home recipes that Eimear and her mother used to bake with.
After completing a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts in 2012, Eimear started trading under the name Bakealicous at farmers markets and supplied cafes with different baked goods. In 2016 she opened her own bricks and mortar shop right in the centre of Navan.
Only using high quality ingredients, Eimear wanted to make every cake taste better than it looks….there’s a lot of rogue cake out there! Catering for the conventional diet, we also bake for those who are gluten free, dairy free and vegan because everyone deserves delicious cake.
Bakealicious has since begun posting cakes nationwide through their online shop and has a thriving wholesale business as well as making countless birthday, wedding and occasion cakes.
