The Bective 

Little sister of The Central Navan. Our ethos is: 'family friendly premises serving high quality food in an environment that is relaxed, fun and friendly.'

The Bective is a relaxed, atmospheric restaurant in the heritage town of Kells, Co. Meath. Open from Wednesdays to Saturdays from 5pm and from 3pm on Sundays, The Bective specialises in Irish beef and fish, with over 90% of food sourced within County Meath.

The Conyngham Arms

The Conyngham Arms is a classic country village hotel, with a traditional country kitchen restaurant, set in the heart of historic Slane, Co. Meath. A beautifully restored 18th Century coaching inn, offering luxurious accommodation and good food in a traditional warm and atmospheric setting. In the busy kitchen, Chef has devised a menu to cater for all tastes, without compromising on the quality of the ingredients he uses therein. Serving morning, light lunch and an evening a la carte menu, local produce is used wherever possible and there is a strong seasonal influence on dishes.

Tankardstown House

Tankardstown House and Restaurant, is set amongst an 80 acre estate of woodland, parkland, courtyards and walled gardens, just 7kms from the village of Slane, in the Boyne Valley. The name of Tankardstown has become synonymous with good food, in both Brabazon Restaurant, which is open to residents and non-residents alike, and in the high end celebratory dining offered to Wedding Guests and Conference Groups.
The 'Garden Village' area is where you will find the award winning Brabazon Restaurant, boasting fine dining and a cosy atmosphere. The team of talented Chefs offer seasonal dishes created from local produce, where possible. The beauty of the Estate is the walled kitchen garden and polytunnels, from which the Chefs, can select vegetables, salads and herbs in season to offer to guests.  Accompaniments on menus change depending on what the kitchen gardener deems to be in perfect condition. Both casual lunch and classic evening dining is served Wednesday through Sunday. The dining experience in Brabazon is a feast for the eyes and the palate!

Although it is under the umbrella of the Headfort Arms, The Vanilla Pod is a self-contained contemporary restaurant that has earned itself regional national acclaim in its 10 plus years of operation. Headfort Arms Hotel

A family run hotel in the heart of the Boyne Valley in Meath. Operating as a hotel for almost two centuries, the Headfort has been operating in the hands of the Duff Family for almost 50 years.

Slane Castle

Located just a few miles from the historic Hill of Tara in the Boyne Valley, part of Ireland’s Ancient East Bread with Benefits will bring you on a journey starting with soil, grain, flour to bread. They will talk about how food choices not only affects your health, but also the health of our Planet and will cover topics such as ultra-processed foods, fibre, diversity and connecting with nature.
You will learn how to make the easiest form of sourdough bread, and will get your hands in the dough in our dedicated space. You will find out what a starter is and how it works and they will mill some flour for your loaves and you will also make your own butter and pickles to have with your bread. While the bread is baking, you will have a seasonal plant based lunch, finishing with some local cheeses. A delicious day!
