Silly Sid’s creates home made ice cream from their dairy herd based in Newgrange Co. Meath. They are the first company in Ireland using fresh milk from their farm to produce rolled ice cream. Silly Sids are available to hire for any event be it weddings, christenings, birthdays, summer parties, beer gardens and even corporate functions to treat your workforce.
Silly Sid’s will bring its array of different ice cream types to cater to everyone’s tastes. The name originates from a popular local goat who grew up on a dairy farm and began to adapt all traits of the Holstein Friesian Cow. Sid the goat now makes the daily commute to the milking parlor with our dairy herd, sleeps with the calves, eats more grass than the cows and occasionally enjoys the odd pint of creamy cow milk. Silly Sids have also collaborated with many local producers in creating our different flavors including local bakers and even local gin.
Watch out for them at markets throughout the Boyne Valley.
