Our Director, Jonathan, is a second generation pig farmer who has won the prestigious 'Young Farmer of the Year award' and a real passion for produce led him to establish Pigspit.ie.
Their pigs are sourced directly from their own farm, which allows them to track their meat from their farm to your fork, they have their own polytunnels and herb gardens where they grow their own fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs used in their food, ensuring top quality food in addition to our reliable and high quality service.
All of their other meats, including salmon, beef and chicken are sourced from local high quality farms. They also strive to give every one of your guests something delicious on the day and so cater for all dietary requirements including coeliac, lactose intolerance, vegetarian, to name a few. They currently work with some of the most well-known corporate names in the country, including Slane Castle, Slane Whiskey Distillery, Courtlough Shooting Grounds, and more.
