Muchgrange Farm


Muchgrange Farm is based in the heart of the Cooley Peninsula, where the Hanlon family have been farming for 4 generations.
Currently milking 120 dairy Friesian cows, enough milk and cream is produced to supply shops around the region with milk, cream and gelato. All their milk is pasteurised, but not homogenised, keeping the flavour and the quality at its optimum. The natural separation of the milk and cream in the bottles highlights the quality and nutritional value of their milk.

Their GELATO is made using a specially developed Italian recipe, along with as many local products as possible. All the milk and cream in their Gelato travels 50 metres from the milking parlour to the production area – freshly milked that morning. This ensures the quality and consistency of their gelato.


They are a working farm, but they also have all their products – including fresh eggs available to buy from their shop, open daily from 10am – 5 pm. You can visit and see their cows, calves, horses and foals and enjoy a coffee, gelato and sorbet.

Muchgrange Farm also have their very own 'On The Moove' Artisan Gelato truck and is available for Communions, Confirmations, Weddings or any private or corporate event. They offer a selection of gelato’s, sorbets, cones, tubs and numerous toppings to help with the celebrations!. You can contact them HERE.
