It’s surprisingly flexible as a venue suiting everything from small intimate gatherings to large celebrations and events. Browne’s Bar, The Gandon Room Restaurant and the magnificent gothic revival Ballroom are just some of the options available. A range of live music and room decoration etc. can be organised through trusted suppliers. Please contact events@slanecastle.ie for further information.

Heritage Week Exclusive – St. Erc’s Hermitage Walk
Slane and its environs are rich in early Christian heritage and Slane Castle Estate conceals many treasures within its 1500 acres. One of these is St. Erc’s Hermitage and a special guided Heritage Walk will run during Heritage Week, Saturday 16th to Sunday 24th August 2025
