The Station House Hotel

The Station House Hotel
The Station House Hotel
The Station House Hotel is a family run, country house venue owned by The Slattery Family since 1981. The Station House was originally a busy railway junction serving passengers and livestock travelling to Dublin and the surrounding countryside towns until 1963. They are very proud to have preserved all of the original remains of the old station properties and fixtures.

Though The Station House Hotel is hidden in the quiet of the Irish countryside, it draws its influences and inspiration from their travels and stays at beautiful hotels around the world. With the bedrooms, they have focused on individuality and character, built on style, comfort, atmosphere and service.

The ethos at The Station House Hotel is centered around sustainability and promoting local businesses, serving the finest of local Boyne Valley and Irish produce in a warm and friendly country house surrounding.

The Station House Hotel launches “Midweek Departures”
A New Series of Creative and Restorative Escapes in the heart of Meath.

The beautiful Station House Hotel in Meath is introducing Midweek Departures, a new
series of midweek escape packages offering guests a chance to pause, create, and reconnect with joy. Taking place on selected Wednesdays across the summer, these overnight experiences combine a luxurious stay with immersive, guided workshops — from painting and Pilates to gardening, cooking, and more.

Midweek Departures invites guests to step off the fast track and onto a slower, more
meaningful journey through creativity, wellness, and nature. Set against the backdrop of the Station House’s 12 acres of manicured gardens, woodlands, and the historic Boyne Valley, each escape is a carefully curated blend of rest, discovery, and hands-on learning.
Staying on your chosen Wednesday night, the one night package is available from €190 per person sharing, or €290 single occupancy and it includes A la Carte breakfast, a light lunch or Cream Tea on arrival on the Wednesday, the afternoon workshop, a three course evening meal in the award winning Signal Restaurant and a turn down service with delicious artisanal chocolates. You can stay for two nights, Tuesday and Wednesday, from €290 per person sharing, or €410 for single occupancy.
This will give you plenty of time to thoroughly enjoy the break and take advantage of the complimentary bikes to explore the luscious Boyne Valley with picturesque cycles to the historic Bective Abbey (4km) or the Hill of Tara (6km).

Or for those that prefer walking, enjoy the beauty of Meath on one of several off-road walks locally, or relax and unwind on the Terrace or by the fires with the paper or a good book. The Station House Hotel’s complimentary concierge service can arrange other activities, such as golf in nearby championship golf courses, Killeen Castle and Royal Tara, or horse-riding at Pelletstown Riding Centre, and you’ll get a 10% off shopping voucher for a selection of local boutiques.
