I run a Cookery school on my family farm in Rathfeigh, Co. Meath. On the farm my son, Eoin rears outdoor free range pigs in our woods. He processes them on the farm into charcuterie, (The Wooded Pig) At the cookery school I teach sourdough bread workshops mainly but I also teach other workshops and do cookery demonstrations. I am a graduate of Ballymaloe Cookery School. The main focus of the Cookery School is wholesome, sustainable local food in season. Lunch is provided as is morning coffee and home bakes. Produce from the farm features largely in the lunch. I can facilitate cookery workshops or demonstrations to suit groups of family or friends. The aim of the School is to provide a very enjoyable and educational food/ farming experience on the farm.
