February is here and it's time to make plans for Valentine's day! After the past two years we think this Valentine's Day is definitely a perfect opportunity to spoil the person you love or a friend to a delicious dining experience now that all the restrictions are gone. The Boyne Valley is home to many talented chefs who are passionate about using the best of local produce on their menus. We have put together some inspiration and info on Valentine’s Day offers from our members that are available on Monday 14th February and the weekends preceding and proceeding the actual day!
The Conyngham Arms is a classic country village hotel and traditional country kitchen restaurant, set in the heart of historic Slane, Co. Meath.
The hotel restaurant serves a full menu of indulgent lunch and dinner dishes, and there is also a cosy bar. The restaurant grows its own herbs and uses as much locally sourced and seasonal produce as possible. The menus change seasonally, so there’s always something new to enjoy. The Vanilla Pod is a self-contained contemporary restaurant in Kells that has earned itself regional national acclaim in its 10 plus years of operation, with many awards and accolades to its name. The Smugglers Rest Seafood Gastropub - Clogherhead Co. Louth. Bringing Port Oriel's best quality seafood straight from pier to plate. They have live music on the 11th February so you can enjoy a delicious Valentine’s Day feast and some entertainment.
