Summer is only around the corner and with it, the June events for the Boyne Valley Food Series.

There is something for everyone to enjoy this June with Food & Drinks Pairing evening, the first GreatBoyne Valley Bake Off, a very special Father's Day Celebration and much more.

Kicking off the month on the 2nd June is Gourmet Movie Night at The Vanilla Pod in Kells, one of the Summer’s most magical events – and this year you will enjoy a GREASE! Then on the 9th June, County Louth Agricultural Show will have an Artisan Food and Craft Marquee, where all the best produce will be available to showcase the Boyne Valley region.

Following on, Tankardstown House is bringing you From Valley To Valley, a delicious menu, based on produce from the Boyne Valley, paired with wines from some of the finest producing valleys in Europe & beyond, on Thursday, the 13th June. Saturday, 15th June is time for the grand finale of the first Great Boyne Valley Bake Off at the Ardboyne Hotel, in partnership with Martry Mill! Amateur bakers will have come through 2 rounds of baking to make it to the final, held in the gardens of the Ardboyne Hotel where a delicious Boyne Valley afternoon tea will be served on the day, with the winner announced afterwards.

Father's Day is well catered with celebrity chef Tara Walker's Father's Day BBQ Demonstration at Teltown House. Tara will be teaching all how to cook fantastic food on a BBQ with treats such as butterflied leg of lamb, fantastically flavoured fish, exciting accompaniments and lots of veg!  A fun afternoon outside in the beautiful and welcoming surrounds of Teltown House.

Thursday, 20th June brings the acclaimed Summer Solstice Supper, a very special long table Solstice Supper served up by Reuven Diaz of Eastern Seaboard Bar & Grill in the unique and beautiful surrounds of Boann Distillery and Boyne Brewhouse; and this year this world-class event is even more special with award-winning chef, Jess Murphy, from Kai Galway, sharing the kitchen with Reuven.

Last but not least, we have the traditional Meath Food Safari; starting and finishing Slane Village, the food safari visits four farms in the surrounding area. On each farm, you will meet the farmer and food producer who will tell you about their business and have some lovely local produce to taste. You'll finish the tour with a BBQ in the beer garden with food made from the farms you visited.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Food Series events... Make 2019 the year you Discover the Boyne Valley Flavours!
