4 food-filled events in August where you can enjoy lots of Boyne Valley Flavours

We have four fantastic Boyne Valley Food Series events taking place this month and there's a little something for everyone with family days out, live music, food feasts, festivals, cocktails and much, much more to enjoy this August.

Thursday 9th - Monday 13th August 
 

One of Ireland's oldest festivals, the Carlingford Oyster Festival takes places over five fun-filled days. This year's festival has a packed programme of fun, delicious gastronomy and of course oysters, all set in the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford.

Saturday 18th August

Marty Mill isn't open on a regular day to day basis during the year so this is a great opportunity to find out the history and workings of the mill and the process of grinding flour. 

 
Friday 24th August

The Vanilla Pod, Kells is hosting a street feast featuring the best street food from around the world using the very best local ingredients. Not only will there plenty of delicious food to feast on, but also live music and lots of craic!

 
Sunday 26th August

The Trim Salmon of Knowlege Festival is a fantastic fun family event packed full of dramatic performances, music by the river, storytelling, arts & crafts, yoga, the Boyne Adventure Race and of course great local produce from the Boyne Valley.
